Bill Morrison, MBAChief Executive Officer / CEO
Bill founded Constellation to pursue his passion for helping others turn their lives around and find joy through a life in recovery. Having experienced several treatment programs both personally as well as a family member, Bill felt there was big opportunity to “raise the bar” on the standard of care in the addiction treatment industry. In 2010, Bill decided to leave a successful career as a Wall Street financial analyst to start Alta Mira Recovery Programs. Today, Alta Mira is nationally recognized for its quality of care, state of the art psychological testing and comprehensive approach to treating addiction and dual diagnosis disorders. After three years of running Alta Mira, Bill created Constellation in early 2013 to partner to partner with entrepreneurs that share his vision and passion for finding a “better way” to treat addiction and co-occurring disorders. Prior to Constellation, Bill worked for eight years as a Wall Street research analyst focusing on consumer Internet/media businesses. Most recently, Bill was a partner and senior analyst at ThinkEquity, where he re-launched their Internet and media franchise. Prior to ThinkEquity, Bill was a director and senior Research Analyst at JMP Securities and a senior associate at Salomon Smith Barney. Before working as a research analyst, Bill worked for a venture capital firm and a Chicago-based healthcare startup, Platinum Healthcare. Bill holds a BA from Colgate University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Cherlyne Short Majors, PhDSenior Strategic Advisor
Dr. Majors is a highly respected and accomplished behavioral healthcare professional with over 24 years of experience ranging from clinical practice to senior executive administration at nationally recognized treatment facilities such as the Betty Ford Center, Cirque Lodge, Charter Behavioral Health’s Provo Canyon School, and Casa Palmera. Most recently, Dr. Majors served as Executive Director of Alta Mira Recovery Programs, a Constellation facility. Dr. Majors has a robust history of developing successful start-up businesses and serving as a change agent in existing businesses that want to invest in continuous improvements as well as long-term strategic change. As Chief Development Officer at Constellation, Dr. Majors is responsible for our corporate strategy, new business development, and other strategic initiatives. Dr. Majors completed her Ph.D. in Addiction Studies as well as post-graduate training in Family Systems Theory. She is a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, a Master Addiction Counselor (National) and licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (Texas), and holds a Lifetime Teacher’s Certificate from the state of Texas. Additionally, she has obtained certification from the Small Business International Trade Association in Small Business International Management.
Sebastian Alioto, CPAVice President of Finance and Information Technology
Sebastian Alioto serves as the Vice President of Finance and Information Technology for Constellation, bringing with him over 25 years of senior financial and operations management experience in both the profit and non-profit sectors. Sebastian is a hands-on manager with a passion for long-term planning, operational management, improving internal systems and processes, and for staff education. Sebastian has served as the senior VP of finance in several technology companies throughout his career, including HealthVISION, ViaNovus, Inc., and MDC Information Systems. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Finance for the Human Services Management Corporation of San Francisco where he managed both financial and operational aspects of the company as well as the IT department, which provided networking, security, equipment and application support to over 50 users in 9 separate locations. A San Francisco Bay Area native, Sebastian graduated from the University of San Francisco and is an inactive CPA.
Drew Paxton, MBAChief Strategy Officer / CSO
Drew’s professional in the technology and recovery industries experience is extensive, spanning over three decades. Mr. Paxton was most recently employed as Chief Marketing Officer for OneHealth Solutions, Inc., a technology company dedicated to connecting individuals dealing with chronic medical and behavioral conditions, including addiction and co-occurring behavioral health disorders. Before OneHealth, Drew served as CEO of Alta Mira Treatment Programs under a prior ownership group. Drew came to Alta Mira initially from The Betty Ford Center where he served as Clinical and Executive Director for their nationally recognized 90-Day Program. Drew also served for several years as Director of Admissions and Business Development at The Betty Ford Center. Earlier in his career, Drew worked at prestigious management consulting firms such as The Boston Consulting Group and L.E.K. Consulting. Additionally he ran global marketing for the QuickBooks brand at Intuit. Drew received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and French from Stanford University. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration in Marketing and International Business from Harvard Business School.
Christi Cessna, MSVice President of Business Development
Christi Cessna earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Central Arkansas and then received her license as a Psychological Examiner. Her broad clinical experience as a therapist includes working with young adults, adolescents and their families in various settings (outpatient and inpatient, college campus counseling center, and in-home counseling). Christi’s therapeutic experience compliments her expertise in business development and strategic planning. Prior to Constellation, Christi worked at Sierra Tucson for fifteen years in a number of administrative and marketing roles including Director of Intake and Senior Director of Clinical Outreach. Under her leadership, she expanded the Clinical Outreach team nationally and internationally resulting in Sierra Tucson experiencing the highest admissions and census in over 15 years. Christi was drawn to work with Constellation based on its core values of focusing not only on personal attention to each client but also the respect and care towards the staff. At Constellation, Christi serves as Vice President of Business Development responsible for generating revenue across Constellation facilities and leading the company’s national clinical outreach and business development team.
Jane LockVice President of Human Resources
Jane Lock serves as the Vice President of Human Resources for Constellation, bringing almost 20 years of human resources experience in primarily the corporate/legal environment. Coached during her early days as an HR Director by one of the senior partners at Littler Mendelson, a nationally recognized law firm devoted to representing management in every aspect of labor and employment law, Jane places a significant emphasis on compliance with state and federal law. During her tenure at Genworth Financial Wealth Management, Jane provided expertise to support staff development, implemented HR operational strategy and developed competency models for its sales and operations groups within the organization, and implemented a succession planning initiative for executive personnel. As a business owner, Jane has partnered with organizations across various industries such as sporting goods, manufacturing, high-tech, telecommunications, hospitality, medicine, veterinary practice, legal, financial, recruiting services, rehabilitation centers, property management, and media businesses. Holding both the Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) and the SHRM Senior Certificated Professional certifications (SHRM-SCP), Jane was also certified as a Workplace Investigator through the Institute of Workplace Investigations and completed her BA (HUMR) at Golden Gate University. Jane is a native of London, England.
Brie C. Rosenfield, MFTDirector of Clinical Development
Brie Ciraulo Rosenfield has been a practicing clinician since 2007, licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in the state of California and holding a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. Over the course of her career, her individual specialties have come to include addiction, post-treatment integration, women’s issues and parenting. With fifteen years of experience in covering all sides of the mental health community, Brie Ciraulo Rosenfield brings a unique combination of skills and knowledge to a diverse spectrum of clients. From working with patients and their families to sharing insights with treatment centers, therapeutic facilities and non-profit programs, Brie brings a comprehensive understanding of the mental health and treatment industry.
Robin Mastroni, MSWEast Coast Regional Director of Clinical Outreach
Robin Mastroni earned her Master in Social Work from Widener University and Bachelor Degree from Pennsylvania State University. Throughout her twenty year career in the field of Mental Health, Robin has had the opportunity to have worked in a myriad of clinical environments and to have served in many diverse positions including: direct clinical practice, administration, marketing and clinical outreach. Most recently, Robin served as Sr. National Director of Clinical Outreach and Strategic Development for Elements Behavioral Health and has extensive experience in marketing and clinical outreach with an emphasis on strategic planning and development. Her career at Elements Behavioral Health spanned over eight years and included being part of corporate start up and facility level de novo and acquisitions. Prior to Elements, Robin worked as Marketing Director for Lifeskills South Florida and spent four years as a Clinical Outreach Coordinator for Sierra Tucson. During her twelve years living in South Florida, Robin also spent time in private practice and worked as a clinical outreach coordinator at The Renfrew Center. Robin has also worked in outpatient and intensive outpatient levels of care. Over her many years in the field, Robin has developed and maintained many long standing relationships with clinicians and mental health professionals regionally and nationally. She has also had the privilege to have worked side by side with many thought leaders in the industry.
Shelby Swartz, MAClinical Outreach Representative, Northwest United States
Shelby is the Clinical Outreach Representative for Constellation and its treatment programs in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. In this role, Shelby is responsible for establishing and maintaining professional relationships with referring therapists, psychiatrists, physicians, substance dependence providers and other professionals in the community. Shelby holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s College of California. She has over 20 years of experience working in the mental health and addictions field with adolescents, young adults, adults, and their families. Shelby has provided individual, group, and family therapy as well as facilitated psycho-educational workshops. Prior to joining the Constellation team, Shelby worked as an outreach specialist for CRC Health Group, Inc., was an Educational Consultant, worked as the Program Director for an international adoption agency, was a social worker with foster youth and foster families, and co-developed a therapeutic residential facility for foster youth.
Stephanie Klindt, MS, LMFTClinical Outreach Representative, Northern California
Stephanie Klindt, a Bay Area native, has been working in the mental health field in a variety of roles since 2007. She holds a Masters Degree from Loma Linda University and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California. She began her career working as a clinician for the County of San Bernardino. While there she worked with a wide range of clients experiencing mental health and substance abuse issues in county clinics, on the county’s crisis response team, and in a school-based non-profit setting. She was awarded the MHSA stipend from the State of California while working in the County and was certified in the Trauma Resilience Model (TRM) in 2010. In 2014, she moved back to the Bay Area where she served as an clinician for Los Gatos Teen Therapy. Most recently Stephanie served as the Director of Business Development at an 80-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital in San Jose. Currently, she serves as a coalition member for the Keeping Youth Safe Coalition focused on substance abuse prevention and is a board member for the Eating Disorder Resource Center.
Michael Frye, MAClinical Outreach Representative, San Diego & Orange County
Throughout his twenty three year career in the field of mental health and addiction, Michael has had the opportunity to have in depth experience working in clinical environments and to have served in many diverse positions including: direct clinical practice, administration, admissions and clinical outreach. Most recently, Michael served as the National Manager for Business Development for a large behavioral hospital group. Michael has extensive experience in business development and clinical outreach with an emphasis on strategic planning and development. Over his many years in the field, Michael has developed and maintained many long standing relationships with clinicians and mental health professionals regionally and nationally. He has held leadership positions with prominent industry leaders including CRC Health Group, Acadia, and Universal Health. With his extensive expertise in the field, Michael provides proven success with multiple relationships around the country and has a strong passion and commitment to the field of healthcare. Michael Frye earned his master’s degree in psychology from California Coast University and bachelor degree from Brescia University.
Carla Chludzinski, MSW, LCSWClinical Outreach Representative, Midwest United States
As a licensed clinical social worker for over 30 years, Carla has had the opportunity to use her extensive clinical skills in a variety of settings: emergency medicine, law enforcement, psychiatry, and, since 1977, the addiction treatment field as well as behavioral health. After several years with Hazelden Chicago managing intake and admissions, she joined Sierra Tucson as the Midwest Clinical Outreach Coordinator where she was an integral part of the Marketing Team for nearly 10 years. Most recently, she served as Clinical Relations Coordinator for Rosecrance Health Network, which provides adults and adolescents with addiction treatment. This professional path has allowed Carla to assist many in finding the best treatment match for their behavioral health needs. She was drawn to Alta Mira’s clinical depth and ability to operationalize its vision in such a conscious, meaningful way.
Amanda E. Lehrer, MSWClinical Outreach Representative, Northeast United States
Amanda earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University and her Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Mercyhurst University. As a social worker with over 17 years of experience, Amanda has had the opportunity to use her clinical skills in a variety of settings: designing disaster mental health preparedness and response curriculum, training mental health professionals, providing in-home and in-school family therapy, counseling adolescents in residential facilities and working for the Region II Head Start program as the Mental Health Content Specialist. In her most recent experience, she was the Regional Outreach Specialist for CRC Health Group, which provides adults and adolescents with addiction and mental health treatment. In a world often overwhelmed by addiction and mental illness, Amanda strongly believes that we as a community need to advocate for the addicted and mentally ill. Her passion and commitment are always driven by making sure her clients and families receive the best treatment possible. She was drawn to Constellation because she shares their dedication to every step of clients’ recovery. Amanda resides in New York City and covers the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut regions.
Vickye Key, LCDCClinical Outreach Representative, Southern Region
With over 16 years as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and a degree in Psychology and Mental Health Vickye Key has proven her passion for campaigning for better mental health and addiction services in our communities. She has developed skills performing in all aspects of behavioral health, interventions, inpatient and outpatient treatment & recovery, and life cycle management. Vickye is currently the president of the Fort Worth Texas Association of Addiction Professionals (TAAP) – since 2008 and sits on the advisory board of other community agencies that assist with accessing community resources. Before joining the team at Constellation Behavioral Health Vickye was the Business Development Manager, Interventionist/Treatment Specialist with Enterhealth Ranch Addiction Treatment, Dallas, TX. Vickye holds certifications in ADC – Advanced Drug Counselor, DWI – Intervention Educator, and SAP – Substance Abuse Professional.
